Legal

Choosing your Santorini wedding to be legally binding is a wonderful option that most of our brides prefer. To achieve this, please see below the procedures you are obliged to follow to meet the requirements of Greek law. We will help, guide, and support you along the way!

1. Bride & Groom’s full original Birth Certificate with both parent’s names.
2. Letter of No Impediment for both Bride & Groom (not dated older than 3 months
of the date of your wedding).
3. Divorce Certificate if applicable
4. Deed Poll Certificate if applicable
5. Adoption Certificate if applicable
6. Death Certificate if applicable

All the above documents will need to be apostilled, then translated into Greek by the
agencies authorized by the Greek Embassy and finally have a Greek consular stamp.

We will also require a photocopy of both Bride & Groom’s passport.

There are two different options as listed below:
OPTION 1 (The below documents to be gathered in the USA)

5. Adoption Certificate if applicable
6. Death Certificate if applicable

All the above documents will need to be apostilled, then translated into Greek by the
agencies authorized by the Greek Embassy and finally have a Greek consular stamp.
